Swiss Restaurant Rösti in Motevideo Switzerland may be a few thousand miles away, but you will forget about the distance the moment you step into the door of the Restaurant Rösti in Montevideo (Pocitos). This place is not only truly Swiss it is also an absolute Insider Tip far off the usual tourist routes. When we tested the Rösti, we started out the classical Swiss way with a Cheese Fondue which was simply awesome. For the main course we had Kassler - a very typical German and Swiss type of salted meat with Röstis - a sort of pancake made out of sliced and roasted potatoes.
