Uruguay - The world largest car museum

Uruguay is not only a wonderful country it is also probably the largest old-timer car museum in the world. Unlike Cuba, where people are held in poverty and simply can not afford to buy new car models, Uruguay is a country of people loving Oldtimers. Over decades it was forbidden to export any used car, as long as one could not prove that there are at least two further models of the same make left in the country.

In the meantime the export of Oldtimers has been declared completely illegal and the collection of wonderful historical vehicles is being preserved. So it takes no wonder that one comes across exiting cars from times gone by long ago almost daily. Whenever such a beautiful object comes across our way we try to shoot some picture and present them to you along with some background information about the model and it's history.
